"I can give you exactly what you're asking for, Janie, and I can give it to you all night long." Their first kiss is impulsive, fun, a little wicked--everything Jane Elliot isn't looking for in a man--but desperately needs. Their second kiss is slow, deliberate, an instant connection--everything Austin Sinclair never had with a woman--and doesn't want. Jane isn't the easy "I can give you exactly what you're asking for, Janie, and I can give it to you all night long." Their first kiss is impulsive, fun, a little wicked--everything Jane Elliot isn't looking for in a man--but desperately needs. Their second kiss is slow, deliberate, an instant connection--everything Austin Sinclair never had with a woman--and doesn't want. Jane isn't the easy conquest Austin's used to. She's a stubborn-as-hell bookworm who's more interested in studying than dating. She needs a little--no--a lot of fun in her life, and Austin's just the guy who can give it to her. Too bad she thinks love should be easy. Too bad Austin knows it isn't. Everybody told her to stay away from the heartbreaker, but Jane knows there's more to Austin than full-body contact kisses and bad boy charm. All he ever promised her was a good time and wow, does he ever deliver.... A steamy romance sure to get your juices flowing. FOR ADULTS ONLY.

This is SO GOOD!!! Why did it have to end? I loved this book! At first I was like:"Oh, great.Another man whore to make me and the main famale character suffer all through the book". But you know what? I was (kind of) wrong. Austin DID make me and the MFC cry and scream, but he also made us love him. A lot. I loved how their relationship developed all through the book. And the epilogue was just...SO PERFECT!!! (I'm gonna cry.Again.Gosh). The characters and the plot were so well written. And the sex s This is SO GOOD!!! Why did it have to end? I loved this book! (I'm gonna cry.Again.Gosh). The characters and the plot were so well written. And the sex scenes were very good.I was actually surprised by how good they were! Well, what bothered me the most about this book was: 1)Austin being a man whore...HOLLY SHIT. I hate them man whores, playboys, heartbreakers, and everything in between. I mean, couldn't he just like women a lot?Did he have to "sleep" ( Big snort here.He SO didn't "sleep" with them) with almost all of the women on campus? Argh. 2)And Jesie going after him AND forgiving him after THAT happened.WOMAN if I were you, I would cut his balls off And make him beg for forgivness. Of course, only after I made him crazy with jealousy (yeah,I'm a pissed off bitch.BIG surprise there). 3)And her roommate-Sara. Ok,we all have a friend like Sara, that worries about us, and all that. But honey, there's a LIMIT to where she can go.And believe me,she definitely crossed it. I would seriously have asked her what her problem was from day one (By the way, if she really were your friend, why didn't she tell you about THAT when it happened? Think about it). 4)Austin still wanting other woman even though he has his girl...ARE YOU SERIOUS? Even if you want those bitches darling, you have to make SURE not to display ANY interest in front of YOUR GIRLFRIEND,you big jerk (I still love him). And with this, I end my tantrum. What else can I say? You have got to read this. It's definitely worth your time! Enjoy it!!

Ah ha ha. This book was almost laughable. Not even sure why when the dialogue put me on edge. I'm going to have to quote something this time. "You did it, Janie. You changed my mind. You healed my heart." He pulled her close. "You were right." All in the span of two weeks! And yes, I'm literally giggling because it's just so awful! But wow. Incredible. Jane deserves a medal - she achieved the impossible and changed 'bad boy' Austin from whore to nice boy! Yay! But seriously, Austin wasn't a bad b Ah ha ha. This book was almost laughable. Jane deserves a medal - she achieved the impossible and changed 'bad boy' Austin from whore to nice boy! Yay! But seriously, Austin wasn't a bad boy, he was just a toolbox who slept with lots of women, treated them like crap and blamed it on it's parents. I wondered if he ever thought it through and realised he was admitting his parents controlled his penis. Would be less horny then, hey buddy? But after we got past Austin's total barf-worthy pick up lines, (for example, "Mm-mm, you're the kind of girl a man likes to dream about.") which, he blamed on his perpetual honesty (dude, you're actually just a twat), and 'perfectness' - because he's a star football player, going to be a doctor, pretty freaking hot and great in bed - Austin wasn't too bad. He was even cute at times. Then he'd do something douchey. But whatever. Janie, on the other hand, was just annoying. She really was perfect. We hate perfect chicks. She's hot and smart and athletic. Mhmm, sure. The worst thing though was she was all like, 'bitch, please' when Austin tried to pick her up but then at the same time she was like 'swoon, sex me now you ruggedly handsome beast'. So, yeah after she was like, learn my name and I'll go out with you (obviously she's a genius and doesn't realise that she's on a website and, you know, generally known around the college) he's finds out her name in a day and then they're together! Huzzah! Dates and all that stuff, they have wild sex which is amazing because they're falling in love, he tries to break up with her and she's not pissed off at him for kissing another chick, but because he's trying to break up with her and you have an... idiot. Jane just wasn't that smart. Just the way the characters were written was terrible. They were contrived and unrealistic and oh my god, Austin's father is supposed to be the douchey dad - which he was - but he was so... unrealistically written that I just wanted to skip his parts. All in all, the plot sucked because it's a romance of change and that shouldn't happen in two weeks and the characters were stupid. But I finished it all because it was fun and hot... so 2 stars!

This is going to have to go on my "everyone liked it but me" shelf. I could not stand Austin or Jane. For me, they were both very one demential characters. He was supposed to be pre-med, but he didn't know where the library was - and couldn't remember a girls name for more than three seconds. Jane was continually saying how she just wanted to have some fun with Austin while at the same time bringing up love every time they got together. Then player boy is "in love" after a week and a half relationship with Jane. Jack acted like this really bad version of "love yoda". Always saying things like " well I know what you like about here but ill let you figure it out for yourself " Not for me. At all.

First off, I added this to my YA shelf but just to clarify, I felt like it was more of a super spicy ya book rather than an erotic adult book. Maybe because the characters are in their very early twenties and still in college, but it just had more of a ya feel to it. That being said, it was a really good book! Austin was such a good bad-boy and Jane was such a bad good-girl! :) They were the perfect pair to compliment each other. The story was great and I really liked this author's style. Even though the length of this book was on the shorter side, there really wasn't anything left out. It worked and the epilogue was the perfect ending to wrap up the few loose ends I had. I will definitely add this to my re read shelf and be looking into Ms. James' other books! ** I just noticed this is only $.99 on Amazon right now! 6/8/13 **

"Tell Me You Want Me" proved to be a wonderful escape. It actually reminded me that reading is for *pleasure.* Honestly, what girl doesn't want to reel in the bad boy? And, okay, the fact that Austin hums when he's happy and doesn't even realize it--adorable! This is a book you could easily read more than once. The characters are well developed; the romance is sweet yet realistic, the sex is... sexy. Read it for yourself, you'll see. Four Stars Very cute, highly predictable fast read. Nothing wrong with that. I'm a sucker for stories involving big time man whores finding the one woman who can tame him. Just love these types of stories :)

I really liked this book! In the grand tradition of college romances, Jane is a bookish good-girl, who finds herself the focus of attention of campus bad boy and manwhore, Austin. Their meeting is unconventional *ahem* (view spoiler)[ she walks in on him shagging a cheerleader in the locker room, who abruptly leaves, and then he proceeds to chat Jane up!!! Talk about your fast movers!!! (hide spoiler)] , but the attraction is strong for both of them, with Austin strangely attracted to the girl who is not his usual type. That woman made him want to do unnatural things, and not just dirty stuff. He wanted to hold her close and kiss her sweetly. Weird. Austin is a complex character. Seriously affected by his parent’s divorce and his father’s manwhorish behaviour (OMG, what an utter ASSHOLE!!!!) Austin has sworn away from love. He refuses to commit to a woman, terrified of breaking anybody’s heart. So instead he sleeps around, never getting too close and forgetting one woman as soon as the next one comes along. Jane knows all about his reputation, but thinks he’s the sexiest guy she’s ever seen. She wants to be a little bad for once… and what better way to do it than with the campus stud!! And so the straight-laced, sexually inexperienced, academic flirts right back, playing the seduction game (very well for somebody so supposedly naïve), agreeing that she will go out with Austin if he can learn and remember her name. And with this line - “Now you’re mine Jane Elliot” - it’s all on!!! The chemistry between the two is pretty intense, and things develop very quickly between them. Very quickly there is lots of sharing and emotion, and the flirting and bantering and innuendo builds to epic proportions until things get steamy… and holy freaking hotness there is a whole lotta steam! There are inevitable issues with Austin’s past manwhorish ways and his initial refusal to take things further coming between them. And through it all, Jane is incredibly strong. Accepting of his reputation, she was initially happy to take what she could get from him. She never threw herself at him and made him work for her. And as things developed between them and Austin had his moment of stupid, she was the strong one and stood up to him, refusing to let him go, and I LOVED that! “Yeah, you’re the heartbreaker, but I’ll be damned if I’ll let you add me to your list of conquests.” The story moved along quickly, with everything happening within a two week period, and at times it felt a little rushed with the depth of emotion they both experience and the resolution that takes place, but it’s a short book, so there’s a lot of story to squeeze in. I would have liked to see it fleshed out a bit more, but it was still an enjoyable read, with some gorgeously swoony moments. “I want you, in case you haven’t figured that out yet, and I’m staying and fighting with you – for you.” A note about the ending - (view spoiler)[ Everything is wrapped up really quickly and there is a HEA, but I found it to be a bit cheesy and ‘hooray for everything’. It was a bit unrealistic for me after all of the different conflicts that had been going on in the story (hide spoiler)] . But there is a gorgeous epilogue set a few years into the future, which I really loved. I’m looking forward to reading Jack’s book next. Austin’s best friend, he’s a great character, and I can’t wait to see him get his HEA. (view spoiler)[Although I’m not a huge fan of Sara yet. I was disgusted with her behaviour for most of this book, so here’s hoping she redeems herself! (hide spoiler)] 3.5 stars

I read The Perfect Game a few days ago and this was basically cut from the same template. I find that college romances follow a standard fare. Male commitment-phobe jock: check. Sassy girl who rebuffs male MC at first: check. I don't mind the rehash but I just wished the "playing hard to get part" does not last for a mere 5 minutes. A few pages in, most of these books have the girl MC giving in. They are sassy for 5 minutes and the jock is suddenly falling hard and fast for them? I didn't really care for Abby Abernathy in Beautiful Disaster but she totally did a mindf*ck on Travis (and yeah me too). So I do buy the connection there. Of course, I'd buy anything Travis-related...So sorry for going off-topic. One thing Austin had over Jack Carter (The Perfect Game) is that "he didn't go there." As Jane said in this book "Temptation by itself isn't bad. It's how you handle it that matters."

This book was Awesome....I didn't know what to expect when I bought it., I found this book by accident, but I am so glad I took a chance on this book. Their banter back and for was funny and their intimate time was steamy:) I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, this will be going on my favs. she This book was Awesome....I didn't know what to expect when I bought it., I found this book by accident, but I am so glad I took a chance on this book. I disliked this book. Just because a hero is labeled a manwhore does not make him sexy. He has to have some redeeming qualities and this book's hero did not.

Very dominate of our bad-boy. ❤ Though I'm pretty sure I have a big stamp on my fore-head reading: "Sucker for Alpha's." Now time for alil Janie.. I thought it was wonderful that even though Austin has his issues Jane took the chance on him. She 'would not let him' break up with her. Go Janie! You are the type of woman (well fiction woman) that us ladies could learn from! My only complaint is I found the book a bit too short. It would have been better if it was longer as I enjoyed reading about Jane and Austin. :)

I really enjoyed this one! I didn't know much about it but grabbed it on sale. The storyline was very similar to The Perfect Game--which I also read--but I actually liked this one better. It was a sweet, light love story with not a lot of angst but some definite steam. I liked both Jane and Austin--as well as secondary characters Sara and Jack who also have their own book. I'll be checking out other books by this author. Definitely recommend.

Gah. I love fun, rompy romance read.....BUT. (I hate that word....it basically negates whatever came before it) Was this a fun read?? Yeaaahhhhhhh (this is my best "I guess so")- and a quick read at that, with less than 200 pgs. It did have a steamy scene or two (now your talkin'!!) some fun drama, and gave me a nice little HEA in the epilogue. Now. Here's a run down for you ****SPOILERS. It's not going to win any awards (and the Author has explicitly made us this promise!), but it was a fun read despite my eye-rolling and obvious disdain for ridiculous situations. This would be a good beach read or flight time waster..... So my friends, keep calm, and smut on!!!

Bad boy want to be good guy to his girl but you know, not so easy way. Their relationship still new, so how a guy can immediately change from bad to good, hmmm? i doubt that, and he still young with raging hormones right? He still screwed up and she still try. Maybe i'm still believe fairy tale HEA and little bit naive but i want if a guy like an girl a lot he can't see anybody else except the girl. So when Austin tempted by other girl owwwwoo, i know... i know.. he's just human and young boy too but??????? and how come Jane just okay with Austin confession about he will always tempted by temptation. Still i give Austin two thumbs up for reject the girl. and so funny when Austin finally meet with Jane roommate Sarah, who else if not Austin ex who he hurt by sleep with other girl when they still together but even after that Austin doesn't remember Sarah. I like other character here Jack, he good fried for Austin, i like Sarah too. and i like this, wkwkwkwk "Hayley was a hottie. I couldn't resist her." Jack cringed. "Um, A ustin, not good." "I was young and stupid." "You still are," Sara snapped. "We both were. You thought you could change me, and I thought... I thought with my dick." "You still do," Jack said, and Sara echoed his chuckle without any humor. "If it helps, I didn't remember you'd dated A ustin." Jack looked at Sara with an apology in his eyes. "I can't keep track of his women either." "No, it doesn't help." Sara looked like she wanted to slap Jack, but snarled at A ustin instead. "I got over you eventually, but seeing you with Jane brought it all back. I'm still over you, so don't go thinking I want you back. I just don't want you to hurt Jane the way you hurt me." "I would never hurt Janie." "I think you'd better tell her that, and you'd better hope she believes you. I wouldn't." That pissed him off. "I don't care if you believe me or not! I broke up with you before I started seeing... what's her name. You got hung up on the word maybe. That's your problem, not mine." I like this story but i dont think to read again. But its all about redemption, how you choose to be good people or bad people, how you choose to change you life to better way, how we for better and worse get choice in our life. Your life not doctrine from other people, like Austin to his Father. Austin with honesty, Jane with acceptance. :)

This was a really cute HEA story. When I finished reading this book, I had a conversation with Damaris about it. I briefed her in on what the book was about and basically asked her opinion. And basically our opinions are the same. I tend to get a little skeptic with Happily Ever After stories. But like Damaris stated to me, it'll be nice to believe in it. One day Jane bumps into him and he flashed her his charming smile that made her want to turn the other way. But the same exact reason that makes her want to turn and run for her dear life, is the same thing that makes her want to stay. Not easily giving into his charm, she makes him work to take her out. Austin isn't the kind of guy that has to work hard for the attention of any girl. All until he meets Jane, Jamie, Jenna. What's her name?! She didn't fall easily for his charm, but he knew she was interested. He can tell her in her eyes. But Austin is only in it for fun. At least that's what he thought. Little did he know that Jane isn't one to give up easily. Nothing in life comes easily, you gotta fight for what you want. Like I said before, I liked this story a lot. It's a story that you can only wish that could be you. Not everyone is a typical cheerleader kind of girl that can get every thing she wants. So to all the plain Jane's like myself (at least in my opinon) it's something that'll be interesting to experience. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars. If you like your HEA stories, then this is for you. In my opinion I think this is a Good Choice for Reading for those not skeptic about love.

I read a review once that questioned what it was that makes the perfect romance novel. I think it's different for each reader. I think those who enjoy the writing style of "the book that will not be named" will love this one. This book has the Hero with a tortured past (explained in the prologue, for those who just graduated from pictures books.) And the sticky sweet bookish heroine, with the constant "subconscious in italics" that makes me want to throw my e-reader across the room. I really do I read a review once that questioned what it was that makes the perfect romance novel. I think it's different for each reader. I really don't get this Bi-polar styler of writing, It doesn't endear me to the person. The constant yo-yo. "I'm telling him this, but I really think this." Why can't the writer save that for a later part of the scene? or just trust that we get it? Maybe it's just my pet peeve. There are some books that I don't love but manage to get through because there are other great qualities that hold the book together and then there are some books that...I can't... This one fell into the second category. I was really looking forward to this book but I just couldn't get into it

Whats not to like about a quick, steamy read about a bad boy with commitment issues who meets a good girl who tames his wild ways?!?!? Jane is Austin's perfect match!!

You can find this review and more at Forever Book Lover. I was asked by the author for a review of "Tell Me You Want Me", right from page one I knew this was going to be a great HEA. I read this book within a few hours, yes honestly, I just couldn't put it down. After reading it, my first thought was that I was wishing my college days were this much fun. :). I read this book within a few hours, yes honestly, I just couldn't put it down. After reading it, my first thought was that I was wishing my college days were this much fun. :). In the first part of the book, we get a glimpse of what kind of family life that Austin was raised in. His parents had divorced due to his father's philandering ways. Austin decided early on that he was never going to fall in love. He is the typical bad boy on campus, love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. Well, until Jane enters his life. Jane upbringing was rather sheltered and her concentration has been on study and soccer. Witnessing a "scene" in the women's locker room, has her decide that a little fun in her life wouldn't be so bad, so who else to show her what she is missing is bad boy himself, Austin. Austin hadn't known love was possible without hurt until Jane challenged him and made him change his way of thinking. She healed his heart. You will love the banter and the deliciously hot and steamy love scenes between these two. I also love the relationship between Austin, Jack, Sara and Jane. I think the friendship was heartwarming, having friends that will stand by you and be honest with you, even if the matter is hard to hear. I also loved that the author paired up Jack and Sara, kind of wish that this could have been played out more. You don't want to miss the final confrontation between Austin and his Dad. Actually, you don't want to miss the entire book, it is fun and sexy. I also enjoyed the wrap up the author gave her readers with the epilogue, it was great to see what the future held for Austin and Jane, family and friends. :) I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I like the characters and think they have chemistry but I don't like how the story develops. First of all Austin is a womanizer and has family and commitment issues and I'm not convinced by how he gets over them. Jane is too understanding of Austin's temptations. I wanted to scream. How could you think with the mind and not with heart? You wanna win the boy's heart but in the beginning I'd have been too hurt to think clearly listening to Austin tell her he got tempetd. And Austin himself one moment I like the characters and think they have chemistry but I don't like how the story develops. And Austin himself one moment he says he doesn't even remember how the girl met at the bar was called and few pages next he refers to her with her name (Ava). Do you or don't you remember? And then to be honest I'm not convinced by their love. They are together not even 2 weeks and already think to have met the eternal love, the ONE. We readers know they are gonna end up together and forever but our hero and heroine not yet and how they react, think and act and feel is not completely believable for me. It seems Austin is in love with the idea of freedom Jane conveys while Jave with the bad boy aura Austin has. She needs fun and he does freedom to believe he's not like his father. I feel lust connection but not love connection. Since I didin't feel connected with the characters I skipped a lot and even the love scenes didn't draw me in and skipped them too. I was bored more than less. Love the epilogue though. The writing is a bit semplistic but Ithink I''ll check this author for future releases.

I was finally able to finish this book last night. It seems like everytime I started to read it someone felt the need to interrupt me and it was frustrating. I loved Austin the first time I read the story. I couldn't help love him a second time around. I read Tell Me What You Want when it first came out and loved it. I bought it on my kindle. It was the first erotica I bought. I got this copy from the author for an honest review. There are a few changes in this one. Austin Sinclair is a bad boy. It was the first erotica I bought. I got this copy from the author for an honest review. There are a few changes in this one. Austin Sinclair is a bad boy. He's so bad there's no way he can't be found appealing. He has boyish good looks, charm, a sinful devilish smile and he's honest. He can have any female on campus and does. Jane Elliot is a "Plain Jane" who is athletic and smart. She doesn't notice that guys that look at her. She's busy studying to date anyone. She lives with a roommate but doesn't know how to loosen up and have fun. She listens to her mother and doesn't have much of a social life. She has a roommate and best friend Sara who wants Jane to have fun and loosen up a bit. But not with Austin. Austin has gotten away with never learning a females name until Jane comes along. From the moment they meet there is instant chemistry. I highly recommend this book. Austin is just an irrisitable character. This story is funny, hot, steamy. Great summer read.

4.5 stars ”Tell me you want me.” How could those simple words make me all giddy, seriously, every time I felt like a lil’ school girl. When I first started to read the book, I kinda had in mind Beautiful Disaster, but it turned out to be completely different. To sum it, it’s about Austin, the campus man-whore who falls for Janie, the sexy- librarian-soccer-babe who needs to lets loose and have fun. I loved Janie; she accepted him, flaws and all, never judging him and was strong enough 4.5 stars ”Tell me you want me.” How could those simple words make me all giddy, seriously, every time I felt like a lil’ school girl. They perfectly balanced each other out. They’re teasing sexual banter was so damn entertaining … and when they finally got down to business, OMG the sex was freaking HOT, they’re both jocks so they definetly had the stamina ;) ”I can give you exactly what you’re asking for, and I can give it to you all night long.”

I'm so glad for the recommend on this book! It starts out hot with the MC walking in on her soon to be supporting love interest in a compromising position. The chemistry is great and the s-e-x scenes are awesome! Kinda of a bad boy gone good - and all in a good way. Jane challenges herself, is she ready for fun? Can she handle that kind of fun? And, how long will it last before she is left behind for another conquest. This has been an 'I don't wanna' put it down' read. When I woke in the middle o I'm so glad for the recommend on this book! When I woke in the middle of the night, having been kicked off the couch by my Lil'Gal who had fallen asleep snuggling with me I found myself unable to go back to sleep. And, hour and a half later I'd finished this book and then drifted off. Although, I'm surprised I was able to go back to sleep after all the steamy excitement in this book. This author has another book coming out next month (August 15, 2012) and you can bet your britches I'll have it on my kindle the moment it is released!

I loved this story!! I was hooked the minute Janie said 'No'. LOL!!! I loved that she didn't put up with Austin's BS even though she was attracted to him. I loved that she made him work for her and that she challenged him at every turn instead of pretending to be something she wasn't, just to keep him. The chemistry between them was sizzling and their inner dialogues were perfect, especially Austin's. I felt that his thoughts really gave the story added depth. You rarely get such a clear glimpse into the male character's inner feelings and thoughts. The ending was wonderful! It made me feel good that they all got want they wanted and that Austin's dad had finally melted a little. It was a terrific read and I smiled as I finished it. A great sign! :o) I'm onto 'Secret Storm' now... gotta' read Jack and Sara's story!

This is the best kind of romance/erotica. It offers readers all of the hot and steamy sex in the context of an emotionally satisfying romance, and is written with beautiful prose that kept me glued to the pages. I couldn't put it down. Or will he lose the girl who could change his life? I can't wait to read more work by Amelia James!

My friend asked me if I read this book. I told her I didn't think so and then I looked at my Goodreads account to check. This book was so bad that I don't even remember reading it and I just finished it 3 weeks ago. A lot of people said this book was a great escape for them. I am all for a book that is steamy and makes you escape into someone's else's life. However, this book was awful. The only thing I did love about this book was the cover. False advertising!!!

A fun, flirty, sizzly-sexy read. Pair up Jane - a "good girl" who would like to just have fun for once, and Austin - a bad boy who really needs to change his ways, and you have a combination sure to lead to a lot of chaos and sparks.

It was so good, it was a breeze to read. Some may say they felt it was a little bit short because they wanted to read more about the story. So I guess it just show how great the book is. It was the first time I read the work of Ms. Amelia James but I can say you made a fan out of me.
